Enjoy a fun MTB tour, with an easy itinerary, a magnificent farmer’s breakfast and a visit to a beautiful winery in the D.O. Bages Plan (with wine tasting included!). Especially designed for gangs and groups of MTB fans, this fun morning can include, if desired, the final lunch on the route at the arrival, in a well-known restaurant in Pla de Bages.
Leaving from Callús, the route climbs towards Joncadella, the “Santuari del Pla de Bages“. Passing a few short stretches of verty easy paths, you finally reach a small winery right next to the Sequia. There you will have a good farmer’s breakfast, with cold meats and local cheeses, and, of course, wine from the own cellar. Because right after that there is a careful visit to the cellar with a wine tasting included.
After this interesting stop, the route continues towards the Parc de l’Agulla – a place of reference for many Bagencs – to continue towards the monastery of Sant Benet de Bages, having crossed Sant Fruitós.
Immediately begins a beautiful section of easy trails and paths, with some connecting tracks, to the Aiguamolls de la Corbatera. The route goes through the – possibly – most beautiful section of the Sèquia, to link a new sector of beautiful paths to Santpedor, visiting the old town.
